We, Tom & Cherrie Dickerson, are University, Bible School, and Seminary graduates with Master of Divinity degrees. We are both Ordained Ministers with the Evangelical Protestant Church, GCEPC.

Wedding Planning

With so much experience doing weddings, we can offer a great deal of help to those who do not really have the resources to either assign or hire a wedding planner. So often, couples spend more than they should. No married couple should enter into Holy Matrimony deep in debt.

If you need help in planning or sourcing a wedding location and or venders - please let us know. At least we can help you sift through some of the confusion so often associated with planning a wedding.

The following are services that we may be able to help you with: Officiant (Ordained Minister), Photographer, Videographer, Disc Jockey, Caterer, Wedding facility, Reception Hall, etc.

If our services fit your needs we will be happy to help. If they don't, we will gladly point you in the right direction. Upon meeting with you, we can discuss this more in detail.

Pre-Marriage Counseling

For all marriages we officiate, we require pre-marriage counseling. We are happy to conduct this in a suitable environment such as your home or even over coffee or soft drinks at a local establishment.

We do take pre-marriage counseling seriously. We will only marry couples who fully intend to put God at the center of their lives and plan on marrying for life.

Depending upon the circumstances, we may require several counseling sessions. Pre-marriage counseling should not be anything you fear. If you truly love each other, love God, and intend on marrying each other for life, you will enjoy your counseling sessions.

Marriage Officiant

We hold Master of Divinity Degrees from seminary and are Ordained Ministers with the Evangelical Protestant Church. In otherwords, we are legally allowed to officiate a wedding and execute the marriage license. Sometimes we do weddings as co-officiants, sometimes either Reverend Cherrie or Reverend Tom will officiate. This all depends upon what the Bride and Groom prefers. We do not technically charge for our services, however we do expect and appreciate a reasonable donation.

To reserve a wedding date you must present us with an official marriage license. We will make all possible effort to accomodate your wedding date.

Funeral Ceremony

If you have the need for someone to conduct a funeral service for a member of your family, we will be happy to provide this service to you. Please contact us immediately to make sure we are available and discuss the various options for the service.

Hospital/Homebound Visitations

As Ordained Ministers, we are honored to have the opportunity to provide pastoral care to those who are homebound or hospitalized.

We provide this as a Chaplaincy service and do not require that the homebound or hospitalized person be a Christian. However, we do require their consent for our visition.

Christian Counseling

On the occassion when you are not comfortable talking with your own clergy and can not afford a secular licensed counselor or therapist, we can provide Christian, Biblical counseling as part of our ministry. We usually only counsel as a couple, but on occassion (when absolutely necessary) we will counsel man to man or woman to woman. We use the utmost of accountability and discretion . If we feel we can not help you, or your situation is beyond our scope of ministry, we will immediately refer you to an appropriate provider.
